Barbara Ruth Boyer, 79, of Noblesville, died June 15, 2014 at her residence. Born Aug. 1, 1934 in Clinton County, she was the daughter of Ora Earl and Evia M. (Wood) Boyer.
She had been employed with SWI Janitorial Supply in Noblesville for 33 years. She was a 1954 graduate of Frankfort High School and a member of Open Door Free Methodist Church in Noblesville.
Survivors include her brothers, Gerald Boyer and Robert Boyer; sister, Betty Watkins; nieces, Joy Lanum, Tressa (Dan) Perlee, Marty (Scott Hall) Frye, Donna Jo (Scott) Hardesty, Tammy (Mike) Hawkins and Kim Boyer; nephews, Max (Deb) Watkins, Robby (Tess) Boyer, Samuel Boyer, Pete Boyer, Terry Lee Flood and Doug (Opal) Flood; friends, Amber and Neveah Moore and Jasmine Hayes; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and her favorite companion, Daisy (her dog).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. June 19 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Rd., Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. The Rev. Jeff Gannon and the Rev. Richard D. Bell will officiate. A private burial will be held at Spencer Cemetery in Sheridan.
