Millers, Noblesville community get excited before state baseball finals

The Noblesville High School baseball team will host a community night from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 18. NHS Athletic Director Michael Hasch said players will be available for an autograph session from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Coach Justin Keever will host a press conference from 6:45 to 7 p.m. and then the team’s practice will be open to watch.

The Millers will face Terre Haute North in the Class 4A championship game at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 20 at Victory Field in Indianapolis. Parking at Victory Field is $5 and gates open at 6:30 p.m.

It is the first time for Noblesville to play in the title game.

Tickets for the state championship are on sale for $9 for ages 6 and older. Tickets may be purchased at West Middle School (enter gate 1) from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Wednesday and Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon Friday. Tickets also will be sold from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Noblesville Youth Baseball Diamonds. Parking at Victory Field is $5 and gates open at 6:30 p.m.

Friday also has been called “Blackout Night” and the NHS athletic department is selling state championship game T-shirts by T&T for $9. Available sizes are youth small to adult 4XL. T-shirts may be picked up from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at T&T, 15320 Herriman Blvd., Noblesville.
