The city of Fishers will close 116th Street at the Nickel Plate District railroad crossing beginning the evening of Oct. 21 and will remain closed through the weekend. The closure is part of a rehabilitation project to the railroad crossing. The closure is expected to last until Oct. 25.

The crosswalk at 116th Street and Municipal Drive will also be receiving improvements during this time. Drivers commuting through the area are encouraged to follow posted detour sings during the closure.
