Road crews plan to restripe 136th Street near St.Vincent Carmel Hospital and U.S. 31 as soon as weather allows.
To help with traffic congestion, they plan to reconfigure the lane markings to allow for two eastbound thru lanes across U.S. 31 to Old Meridian Street from the new roundabout at 136th Street and Rohrer Road.
In order for INDOT workers to perform this work, temperatures must be above freezing and pavement must be dry.
Restriping this area is a top priority pending favorable conditions.
