The Carmel Police Dept. headquarters at 3 Civic Square was evacuated at approximately noon June 21 after receiving a bomb threat.
Police conducted a sweep of the building, which is undergoing major renovations, and found nothing suspicious. After the sweep, business resumed as usual in the building.
Carmel police declined to immediately release additional information about the threat.
