Three MSD of Lawrence Township schools closed early Aug. 25 after a storm knocked out power at Harrison Hill Elementary, Belzer Middle School and Lawrence Central High School.
“Given the severity of the outage and extreme temperatures, these buildings will be dismissing early,” stated an email from district officials.
Harrison Hill students were set to be dismissed at noon, with Belzer and Lawrence Central students heading home at 1 p.m.
