ISDH reports more than 3,500 cumulative COVID-19 deaths

The Indiana Dept. of Health today announced 1,488 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 129,677 the total number of Indiana residents known to have had the new coronavirus, following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

A total of 3,515 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, an increase of 16 since yesterday, following corrections to the state’s coronavirus dashboard. Another 227 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the state and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 1,451,391 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 1,440,917 on Wednesday. A total of 2,246,099 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the ISDH since Feb. 26.
