The recent letter to the editor in Current In Carmel regarding the Carmel Police Dept. was, in my opinion, totally accurate, and as a Carmel resident, I feel it needed to be said and recognized.
In my 43 years living and raising a family here, I have realized for some time what a great asset they are to our community. They all deserve our respect and admiration for the job that they do, and with the recent civil unrest, we are all counting on them to handle whatever issue may develop with swift, fair action and decorum. They are first-rate and should be enthusiastically supported.
