“Grateful: The Jenni Berebitsky Story,” a documentary about Berebitsky’s courageous battle with ALS will air on PBS station WFYI-20 at 7:30 p.m. July 20. Berebitsky lived with ALS for 10 1/2 years before dying in August 2019.The documentary, directed by Paul Nethercott and produced by Amy Pauszek, won the Audience Choice Award at the Indy Shorts International Film Festival in 2018. It also has won several honors at other film festivals, including Best Documentary at Circle City Film Festival in 2018 and Audience Choice Award for Best Short Documentary at Sedona International Festival in 2019.
