Duane Koon, 80, of Carmel died July 6. He was born in Anderson, son of Hallard Dale and Mary Carolyn Houston Koon.
Duane married Jeannine Usher in 1959 and embarked on a career that included time in the Navy, teaching and pharmaceutical sales.
In addition to his parents, Duane was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammi; sister, Linda; and brother, John.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannine; daughters, Juane (Jay) and Kenitra (Mark); eight grandchildren; and five siblings.
