Last month, Mt. Vernon Community School Corp. launched an app designed to keep parents and guardians in the loop while their kids are on the bus or preparing to get on the bus.
The app, “Don’t Miss the Bus,” will help parents and guardians send their child to the bus stop at exactly the right time, especially during inclement weather. Notifications will be sent with updates through the app.
The app, free to MVCSC families and accessible through the district’s Family Access Skyward accounts, is also a mobile tracker, although it is on a 10-second delay to most phones.
