Stefan Ford, 42, of Carmel passed away Sept. 4 at his home. He was born July 23, 1974, to Karon and Jessica (Harshey) Ford in Grand Rapids, Mich.
For 10 years, Stefan worked as a digital solutions specialist for Wiley Publishing. He was a very funny and intelligent person with a great sense of humor. Stefan was a science fiction, computer and history buff and enjoyed politics and debating. His favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas. He loved the snow and was a very good cook. Most of all, Stefan loved his children.
He is survived by his wife, Christa Ford; mother, Jessica (Gerald) Ponkey; children, Abagail Ford, Wyatt Ford, Evelyn Ford, and Maxwell Karon Ford; siblings, Stephanie (Mark) Butler, and Stephen (Michele) Ford; and grandmother, Edna Ford.
Stefan was preceded in death by his father, Karon Ford; and his grandparents, Oren Ford and Jesse and Virginia Harshey.
Visitation was held Sept. 8 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Services were held at 11 a.m. Sept. 9 at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Ruggles officiating.
