Walsh Construction plans overnight traffic restrictions this week for overhead work on bridge beams at the new Interstate 69 interchange under construction at 106th Street.

Work is dependent on favorable weather, and construction schedules are subject to change.

unnamed-2Monday, Sept. 12:  Up to three left lanes of northbound I-69 will be closed, and rolling slowdowns of up to 20 minutes each on northbound I-69.

Tuesday, Sept. 13:  Up to three left lanes of southbound I-69 will be closed, and rolling slowdowns of up to 20 minutes each on southbound I-69.

Wednesday, Sept. 14:  Up to three left lanes of southbound I-69 will be closed, and rolling slowdowns of up to 20 minutes each on southbound I-69.

During rolling slowdowns, pilot vehicles will slow traffic approaching the construction zone to create gaps in traffic that will allow for safely working over the interstate. Backups and delays should expected.  Motorists should seek alternate routes to avoid congestion and delays.
