The Noblesville Preservation Alliance is extending its application deadline for this year’s residential façade grants to May 6.
The organization said the extension is an effort to generate more applications for the $5,000 available to homeowners to fix up the facades of their historic homes.
NPA will match, dollar for dollar, a homeowner’s investment in their home’s façade, up to $1,000. Seed grants up to $500 are available without a match. All grants are a reimbursement and require contractor cost estimates. In addition, all work must be completed in 2016.
Over the past five years, NPA has granted $18,000 to 22 grant recipients.
