In 2015 five members of Boy Scout Troop 804 of Zionsville attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank advancement in Scouting.

The new Eagle Scouts are Aidan Washer, Zachary T. Hoyes, Mathew Munley, Grant S. Cawi and Danny Perkins.

“We congratulate these Eagle Scouts and praise them for their hard work and service to the community,” Scoutmaster Greg Hoyes said. “By participating in Scouting, earning merit badges and planning and executing a service project, these young men are well-prepared for the future.”

Since its inception in August 2004, about 24 percent of the Scouts from Troop 804 have attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Nationally, less than 2 percent of Scouts earn this rank.
