Beginning Jan. 31, Our Lady of Grace Catholic School will be kicking off Catholic Schools Week, a national initiative celebrating Catholic education in the U.S.

Locally, the school will be observing through Feb. 6.

“Our Lady of Grace Catholic School always starts the week off by participating in Mass in an extra special way. This year, with generous help of the Knights of Columbus, we are hosting a Pancake Breakfast after the 9 a.m. mass on Jan. 31,” the school’s Coordinator of Family Engagement Jim Wolf said.

Wolf said nationally, schools typically observe National Catholic Schools Week with Masses, open houses and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members.

“Throughout the week at school, we celebrate with our students in a different way every day,” he said. “The idea is to have fun, but also make sure that our students’ social awareness is heightened.”

Anyone is welcome to the pancake breakfast in Grace Hall on the Our Lady of Grace campus, 9900 E. 191st St., Noblesville.
