New year means some new and some old faces in Zionsville town leadership roles

Zionsville’s first governmental meeting of 2015 kicked off the New Year with the first town council meeting on Jan. 5.

The following are newly appointed/reappointed town committee members for 2015.

• 

  Steve Mundy appointed for President of Town Council.

• Susana Suarez appointed to Vice President of Town Council.

• Dorthy Hitchins was reappointed to the Parks Board for a four-year term.

• Wade Achenbach was appointed and Katie Culp was reappointed to the Zionsville Redevelopment Commission for a one-year term.

• 

  President appointed- commissioners, Bradley Johnson, Luke Phenicie and Mark Plassman were also reappointed for one-year terms with the Zionsville Redevelopment Plan Commission.

• Wade Fulford was reappointed to the Economic Development Commission for a one-year term.

• Four president appointments for Economic Development Commission wer made. The town appointed Molly Whitehead and reappoint Kent Abernathy, Carol Marquiss and Tammy Kelly for one-year terms.

• 

  Susana Suarez, Steve Mundy and Elizabeth Hopper were reappointed to the Zionsville Safety Board

• Zionsville Municipal Building Corporation members Steven Tarr, Larry Jones and Paul Watson were all appointed for one-year terms.

• Zionsville Eagle Township Municipal Building Corp. members Kent Abernathy, Larry Jones and Larry Mitchell were appointed.

• 

  The Zionsville Pathways Committee reappointed Jeff Edmondson, Geoff Brown, Bill Spitz, Paul Watson, Evan Williams, Art Small, Chad Pittman and Tom Schuler, all for one-year terms.

• The Zionsville Town Hall Building Corp.  reappointed Steve Lonn, Rob French and  George Tikijian. One-year term.

• Lauri Schein was reappointed as town prosecutor for a one-year term.

• MPO Policy Committee – Nominated Elizabeth Hopper.

• The Water Advisory Board nominated Tom Schuler for a one-year term.

• The Boone County Solid Waste Management Board Rep. nominated Candice Ulmer for a one-year term.

• The Architectural Review Committee appointed Michael Billig and reappoint Eileen Davis, Tom Casalini, Elizabeth Casselman, Bradley Johnson, David Rausch and Mike Zeller for one-year terms.

• The Union Township Building Corp reappointed Charles Naber Jr., Christopher Henry and Christopher Maher for one-year terms.
