Activities will be taking place all day long for residents at little or no cost

Fishers Parks & Recreation will debut Try It Day on Saturday, May 10 from 7 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. in Fishers. This unique event offers residents of all ages an opportunity to explore new activities that they’ve always wanted to try, many free of charge or at a discounted rate through the organization hosting the event. Activities will take place around town at specific venues but also all day on the Nickel Plate District amphitheater stage, and families are encouraged to plan ahead in order to create their adventures throughout town.

Fishers Parks & Recreation strives to provide diverse, entertaining and affordable programs available not only for the residents of Fishers, but also for residents in surrounding communities. Residents have the ability to try out diverse programs without being locked into a timely and expensive extracurricular commitment; this allows people of all ages to explore various areas of interest! Fishers Parks & Recreation hopes to develop working relationships with community organizations to increase collaboration, resource-sharing, and overall success of programs running in Fishers. Try It Day would not be possible without the help of the local businesses participating.
