Fishers Parks & Recreation to host various service events throughout town
On May 3 beginning at 8:30 a.m., Fishers Parks & Recreation will be kicking off a one-day service opportunity. Spring into Action encourages individuals of all ages to get outdoors and get engaged in keeping our community beautiful. Spring into Action will host several smaller events that allow volunteers to find something of interest and participate in meaningful service work right here in our community. New this year, one of the service projects available for volunteers during Spring into Action is Keep Fishers Beautiful. This new initiative will allow volunteers to work alongside residents in Sunblest CountryView on smaller beautification projects.
Fishers Parks & Recreation is proud to host community-wide volunteer opportunities like Spring into Action. These opportunities allow residents to help each other, benefit our community and build a great bond among all Fishers residents. Register your group or organization by April 14 to secure your spot at Spring into Action and/or Keep Fishers Beautiful.
