Born and raised in Southern Indiana, Representative Steve Braun is the representative for Indiana House District 24. A business owner from Zionsville, the Harvard graduate has spent his life working in the private sector. After receiving a business degree from Harvard, Representative Braun immediately went to work for Price Waterhouse. After a few short years he began his own technology consulting business and grew to over 750 employees and 13 offices nationwide before taking the company public in 1999.
Representative Braun currently owns several successful businesses and continues to employ people right here in the Hoosier state. He remains very active as an entrepreneur, as he is engaged in tech companies as an angel investor and he also owns businesses in real estate and agriculture.
The representative and his wife Jennifer of 31 years have raised their five children in Zionsville, and are active members of the community.
The 5th Congressional District of Indiana will hold an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on Nov. 4 of this year.
