Mary K. Garriott, 82, of Noblesville, died March 11. Born June 4, 1930, in Fairport, N.Y., she was the daughter of Clarence and Mary Louise Denn Kleinhenz. She was a graduate of Fairport High School.
She worked at the office of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Ye Olde Pine Shoppe Antiques and most recently the Hamilton County Assessor’s office. She was proud to be the military wife of John W. while he served in the Marine Corps as a major and was one of the first pilots to fly with the Blue Angels. She enjoyed collecting lighthouses and especially enjoyed cooking for her family.
Survivors include her children, John F. Garriott (wife, Ruth), Jennifer S. Poynter and Judith L. Hunt; grandchildren, Ian F. Garriott, Zane Garriott, Madison Poynter, Chase Poynter, Brittany Poynter, Jason Hunt and Kelsie Esposito-Wilcox.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John W. Garriott; and son, Justin W. Garriott.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.bussellandbell.com.
