For two weeks, diners will be able to take advantage of $30 prix fixe menus for one or two with various dining options, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free alternatives, and drink pairings during Northside Nights. Guests will be able to dine at nearly 40 independent and upscale chain restaurants now through March 24.

Susan Decker said Northside Nights began three years ago and represents restaurants from 146th to 62nd streets.

“It’s really grown. The number of restaurants participating has grown the last couple of years, and the number of people has increased every single year,” she said.

Participating restaurants include: 1881 Grille, Arni’s Restaurant, Bella Vita, Blu Martini, Brewstone Beer Co., Chef Mike’s Charcoal Grill, Cobblestone Grill, Eddie Merlot’s, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse, Hall’s Castleton Grill, Harry & Izzy’s, Hellas Café, J. Razzo’s Italian Restaurant, Kinkaid’s, Late Harvest, MacKenzie River Pizza Co. (Carmel and 82nd Street), Maggiano’s, Michael’s Southshore, Mitchell’s Fish Market, Nickel Plate, Oakley’s Bistro, Ocean Prime, Peterson’s, Pizzology, Rusty Bucket Corner Tavern, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Sahm’s Restaurant & Pub, Sangiovese Ristorante, Scotty’s Brewhouse, Season’s 52, Shiraz Wine Café, Smee’s Place, Stone Creek Dining (Noblesville and Zionsville), Sullivan’s Steakhouse, The Local, The Loft at Trader’s Point Creamery, and The Melting Pot.

“It continues to change,” Decker said. “Restaurants add on the first night.”

Restaurant updates can be found online, as well as menus that provide gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.

“We try to cater a little bit of everything for all people,” Decker said.

Northside Nights is also partnering with the Palladium to offer special discounts for three different shows during the two-week event. Tickets will be $30 for the Leipzig Quartet (Friday), Music of ABBA (Sunday) and Barbara Cook and Michael Feinstein (March 23). Other partnerships include 10 percent off of the “Food for Thought” book developed by Indiana Humanities and $71 room rate at the Marten House.
