Nominate them by January 22 for United Way, Corporate Volunteer Council award
If you have a corporate or community volunteer, a volunteer program or a corporate project you’d like to honor for their impact in Central Indiana in the past year, you have until January 22 to nominate them for one of five awards presented jointly by The Central Indiana Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) and United Way of Central Indiana.
Nominees must live or be based in United Way of Central Indiana’s service region: Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Marion and Morgan counties. The awards will be presented March 13 at the Leadership and Volunteerism Summit hosted by the CVC and United Way.
“Hoosiers are known for their willingness to give back and make a difference. So many community volunteers are changing our community and improving lives. This is an important way to recognize and thank them.” said Alan Witchey, director, United Way of Central Indiana’s Volunteer Center.
United Way of Central Indiana helps people learn more, earn more and lead safe and healthy lives. United Way gets things done by mobilizing people and community partners in six Central Indiana counties to identify, advance and advocate the best solutions.
