NEW–Support Group

Bereavement Support Group will begin another 6-week support group meeting on Tuesday, September 25from 1:00-2:30 p.m.  “Working through Grief.”The support group is free and for those who have recently experienced the loss of a loved one.  This is an open support group.  You may attend any of the meetings or just some of the meetings.  Registration not required but would be appreciated.  Contact BCSSI to register.

 

Lunch and Learn

Wednesday, September 5, noon till 1:00 p.m.  Is it time to organize all your “stuff”. Lisa Cagany will help us get started with a household inventory.Lunch, which is free to the first 25 registrants, will be provided by Homewood.

 

Cards

Bridge and Euchre every Wednesday from 1:30-3:30 p.m. immediately following Lunch and Learn.  Location will vary based on facility usage.  For more information, contact Olive Wade at 765-325-2436.

 

Zionsville Computer Classes

Independent Consultation-$20.00

Every Wednesday –10:00 a.m. –12:00 p.m. located in the Narthex of Zionsville United Methodist Church (ZUMC).  Do you have a computer project you need help completing?  Instructor John Paulsrud will help you with solutions.  This class if for students who have some computer knowledge.Makes checks payable to ZUMC.  Space is limited.  Registration is required.  For more information or to enroll contact Boone County Senior Services at 317-873-8939 or 765-482-5220.

 

NEW-Zionsville Support Group

Bereavement Support Group “Working Thru Grief” will begin a 6-week support group meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month beginning September 11 through February 12 from 1:00-2:30 p.m.  The group will meet in the Zionsville Town Hall Fireplace Room.  This support group is free and for those who have recently experienced the loss of a loved one.  This is an open support group.  You may attend any of the meetings or just some of the meetings.  Registration not required but would be appreciated.  Contact BCSSI to register.

 

 

NEW—Travel Group

November 28-30—A Country Christmas at Opryland Hotel.

Cost is $639 per person based on double occupancy.  Single, triple and quad occupancy prices are also available.  Includes round trip motorcoach transportation, luggage handling and gratuities with Miller Trailways; 2 nights lodging; 2 meals;the Lorrie Morgan Enchanted Christmas Dinner Show; the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular and more!  There’s no better way to celebrate the season.  Enjoy more than 2 million twinkling lights, horse-drawn carriage rides, an outdoor nativity display and a 1950’s town square decorated for the holidays.  Payment of $100 deposit per person is due at registration. Van trip attendees must call BCSSI at 765-482-5220 or 317-873-8939 for more information or to sign-up prior to trip departure.  Meet at BCSSI for departure.  Transportation fees and meal costs are the responsibility of the attendee.  Call BCSSI @ 765-482-5220 to schedule personal transportation appointments.
