The Zionsville Fire Dept. and Whitestown Fire Dept. are now in search of a full-time firefighter/EMT and firefighter/paramedic.
All applicants must:
- Be at least 21 years old and younger than 36 years old on the date of hire, unless they are already a member of the 1977 Police Officers’ and Firefighters’ Pension and Disability Fund.
- Have graduated from high school or have GED
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Be an Indiana Firefighter II certified by Aug. 29, 2014
- Be a State of Indiana Certified EMT or greatey by Aug. 29, 2014
- Have a valid CPAT card at time of conditional offer of employment (Whitestown Fire Dept. only)
Applicants will be used to conduct a joint hiring process with the purpose of creating individual eligibility lists. Interested persons may obtain an application from Whitestown Town Hall at 6320 Cozy Lane, Whitestown between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday of the Zionsville Fire Dept. Administrative Office at 1100 W. Oak St., Zionsville between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
