Zionsville and Whitestown Fire Departments now hiring

The Zionsville Fire Dept. and Whitestown Fire Dept. are now in search of a full-time firefighter/EMT and firefighter/paramedic.

All applicants must:

  • Be at least 21 years old and younger than 36 years old on the date of hire, unless they are already a member of the 1977 Police Officers’ and Firefighters’ Pension and Disability Fund.
  • Have graduated from high school or have GED
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Be an Indiana Firefighter II certified by Aug. 29, 2014
  • Be a State of Indiana Certified EMT or greatey by Aug. 29, 2014
  • Have a valid CPAT card at time of conditional offer of employment (Whitestown Fire Dept. only)

Applicants will be used to conduct a joint hiring process with the purpose of creating individual eligibility lists. Interested persons may obtain an application from Whitestown Town Hall at 6320 Cozy Lane, Whitestown between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday of the Zionsville Fire Dept. Administrative Office at 1100 W. Oak St., Zionsville between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

No telephone, email or mail requests will be accepted.

Applications must be turned in no later than 4 p.m., Aug. 29, to the Whitestown Town Hall or the Zionsville Fire Dept. Administrative Office.
