Mary Frances McCord, 92, Noblesville, formerly of Marion, died Aug. 5 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. She was born June 20, 1924 to Frank and Mary (Pointer) Fenton in Pennville, Ind.

She was the youngest of the three children of James (Frank) and Mary Fenton of Jay County and Winchester, Ind. She graduated from high school in 1942 and married Donald Gene McCord in Seattle, Wash., on July 13, 1944 while he was in the Navy. She worked at Anchor Hocking Glass and then was a homemaker for the balance of her life. She was heavily involved in the Marion Bowling League for many years with her friends at the Marion Phi Delts, and attended the Central Christian Church in Marion. She was also a choir member many years ago at the Congregational Christian Church in Winchester. Mary continued to live on Westwood Drive in Marion following Don’s death in 1998. She moved to Sweet Living, west of Marion in 2005, and then on to Prairie Lakes in Noblesville in 2011.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Ken) Wagner of Fishers, son Jim (Mickey Pratt) McCord of Denver, Colo., grandchildren Kevin (Catherine) Wagner of Noblesville, Amanda (Scott) Russell of Madison Heights, Mich., Sam McCord of Keau, Hawaii, Jennifer McCord of Denver, Colo., and Chris (Jennifer Karcher) McCord of Groton, Conn., and great-grandchildren Michele, Giovanna, Crystal, Ashley, Sebastian, Myriah and Emily of Denver, Colo., Elizabeth and William of Madison Heights, Mich., and Elise of Fishers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don McCord, who died in 1998, and two sisters Louise and Barbara.
