Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank annual meeting scheduled virtually

Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank will conduct its annual meeting virtually at 7 p.m. March 16. The meeting is open to the public, and preregistration is available at callcarpenter.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZIuc-CpqjouEtRTNtBehX15H-tN1talTIZX.

Emily Weikert Bryant will be the featured speaker. Bryant is the executive director of Feeding Indiana’s Hungry, a network of Feeding America food banks in the state.

Bryant will discuss what Feeding Hamilton County is and what the public can do to help.

Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank advocates for all of the Hamilton County food pantries and meal programs and informs the general public about what food insecurity means. Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank is a nonprofit that supports more than 40 food pantries and meal programs in neighborhoods across Hamilton County with nonperishable food, fresh, locally grown produce, locally sourced meat and network support. Since 2009, it has provided more than 890,000 meals to the Hamilton County food support network.
