OneZone Chamber of Commerce recently named Amanda Rubeck as its Emerging Leader of the Year Award winner. The award recognizes a businessperson between the ages of 21 and 40 who demonstrates leadership and passion for making a difference in his or her community based on leadership, mentorship, community involvement and entrepreneurship.
Rubeck is the vice president/senior retail officer at STAR Financial Bank. She is involved in a variety of organizations, including the American Cancer Society, Junior Achievement of Central Indiana, and ACS ResearchHERS.
“We look forward to highlighting Amanda as our Emerging Leader of the Year. Her work with so many great organizations and her impact on the community is so incredible,” OneZone President and CEO Jack Russell stated. “She serves on a variety of committees in our organization, including our Carmel Business issues and is a volunteer at a number of our events throughout the year.”
