Retired judge to run for Hamilton County Council

Steve Nation, who recently retired as Hamilton County judge, has filed to run for an at-large seat on the Hamilton County Council. He previously served as the county’s prosecuting attorney and is board president for Indiana Fallen Heroes Foundation.

“It’s always been my duty to do two things: Protect people and help people reach their highest potential,” Nation stated. “I’ll continue to do this by serving as a Hamilton County councilor.”

As judge, Nation helped launch the Hamilton County Youth Assistance Program, a program that expanded to several communities that he still supports through their boards.

Nation and his wife of 36 years live in Noblesville.
