Former Indiana Secretary of State Ed Simcox recalls how more than 40 years ago he gave Carmel Mayor James Brainard his first job in government as a recent graduate of Butler University. At the time, Brainard was working as a taxi driver in downtown Indianapolis. -
The State Auto Insurance grand-opening included a Taste of the Neighborhood buffet featuring food from 14 local restaurants. Jacob Forstall from Grille 39 and Mario Lomeli from Verde wait at their stations to serve associates.
