The annual Easter Egg Hunt at Forest park has been set for April 13, the weekend before Easter.

The Noblesville Parks & Recreation Dept. and Hare Chevrolet each year presents the event that also features an appearance by the Easter Bunny, a DJ, bounce houses, emergency vehicle showcases from the Noblesville Fire and Police departments and more.

Taking place primarily at Forest Park’s Shelter 5, the event will kick off at 10 a.m., with the egg hunt, which will feature more than 12,000 eggs, beginning at 11 a.m. sharp. Kids will be split into four age groups for the hunt – 1-2, 304, 5-6 and 7-10. No registration is required to participate, and the other event activities are free.

In keeping with tradition, the Noblesville Sunrisers Kiwanis Club also will host its pancake breakfast at Forest Park Inn from 8 to 10 a.m. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and milk. Cost is $5 per person and all proceeds will benefit a children’s charity.
