Carmel resident Anushree Mukherjee, left, and Zionsville resident Kandi Hidde attend the 23rd annual Governor’s Luncheon for Scouting, held Dec. 10 at the JW Marriott hotel. The event honored the Indiana Boy Scouts with more than 2,000 local entrepreneurs and executives. It aims to create public awareness of Boy Scout programs and is the local Boy Scouts of America Council’s largest fundraiser of the year. The luncheon raises more than $1 million annually to help offset costs of providing character development programs, camps, training and more to more than 34,000 youth and 7,500 adult volunteers in central Indiana.
