Riverview Health and Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent have announced a partnership in pediatric care.

The partnership began in October, in which pediatric physicians from Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital are providing care for newborns and pediatric inpatients at Riverview Health Hospital in Noblesville. The doctors also are consulting in the emergency room when needed.

Riverview Health officials said the partnership will expand more at the start of 2019.

“In addition to care provided to pediatric inpatients and emergency room patients, families delivering babies at Riverview Health now have around-the-clock access to an on-site pediatric hospitalist physician at all times,” stated Seth Warren, president and CEO at Riverview Health. “These Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital physicians have expertise in newborn care and are prepared to handle everything from normal newborn exams to more serious issues.”

Fishers Pediatrics and Noblesville Pediatrics, both entities of Riverview Health, are expected to remain in their current locations but will now be a part of Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital and St. Vincent Medical Group.

“This partnership will make it possible for infants and children to receive care close to home while providing convenient access to a higher level of specialized pediatric care when they need it,” stated Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital President Dr. Hossain Marandi.

This isn’t the first partnership between Riverview and St. Vincent. Several years ago, the two health organizations partnered on cardiovascular health services.
