Members of the Carmel Fire Dept. recently presented gifts to neighbors in need through its annual Community Assistance Program. CFD shopped for toys and delivered food to more than 152 families, including 406 children. “It’s the old school fire dept. It’s something you would have seen a 1960s movie, and it happens today,” CFD firefighter Tim Griffin said. “People coming together as a community, driving through our fire house bays, firemen on and off duty loading cars.” (Photos by Heather Collins)
