The Zionsville Plan Commission will consider a request to rezone 13 acres that formerly held a residential trailer park for a single-family residential development known as The Cove.
MAP 1861 Development, LLC is seeking to rezone the sites at 410 S. 4th St. and 500 S. Main St. from Urban Residential Village and Urban Residential Single Family Zoning District to a Planned Unit Development. The proposal includes a maximum of 24 homes with minimum lot sizes of 2,000 square feet.
Submitted elevations show most two- to three-story homes with an option for a fourth level with a deck. The maximum building height is 40 feet and homes are proposed to be six feet apart.
The project also includes possible trail connections to the Village area and Zionsville Rail Trail.
The plan commission will discuss the rezoning request at its next meeting, set for 7 p.m. July 17 at Zionsville Town Hall.
