Betty Ann Farmer, 64, Noblesville, died Jan. 20 at IU Health Saxony Hospital in Fishers. She was born Oct. 10, 1952, to George and Irene Emily (Hutchins) Stricklin in San Luis Obispo, Calif. Her parents preceded her in death.

Betty worked for many years as a telecommunications operator and unit secretary at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson and had also been a front-desk manager at Holiday Inn for many years. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, whom she loved very much.

She is survived by her husband, John Farmer, whom she married Aug. 22, 1969, daughters Rebecca (Todd) Hollowell and April (Brian) Finch, grandchildren Hunter and Hayden Hollowell, Haylea, Hannah and Hogan Finch, siblings George (Terri) Stricklin, Gordon (Angie) Stricklin and Kathy Wilmon; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and many special friends, including those at Fresenius Dialysis Center in Fishers.
