Jacob Bennett, 15, recently received his Eagle Scout Rank. Bennett, a sophomore at Hamilton Southeastern High School, is a member of Troop 199, which is chartered by Holy Family Episcopal Church. To earn his Eagle Scout rank, Bennett improved a nature trail at White Acre Campground in Camp Atterbury. His project consisted of widening the trail, removing overgrown weeds and trees and repaired two bridges. Twenty-seven volunteers aided Bennett in his efforts, and the project was completed in September. Only 4 percent of Boy Scouts attain the Eagle Scout rank. (Submitted photo)
