According to a press release from the Indiana Dept. of Transportation, drivers along I-69 can expect overnight lane closures tonight from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Three right lanes of southbound I-69 will be closed for overheard work on the 106th Street bridge.
The work depends on weather and is subject to change.
Walsh Construction recently poured a concrete deck on the bridge that carries eastbound 106th Street traffic over I-69. Depending on weather, the westbound bridge deck will be poured Oct. 12.
Motorists are reminded that the speed limit at marker 204 is reduced to 55 mph and may be further reduced to 45 mph overnight. For more, visit in.gov/indot/2356.htm.
