Virginia Ruth Owens, 94, Noblesville, died July 29 at Riverwalk Commons in Noblesville. She was born June 4, 1922 to George and Hazel (Mills) Dodd in Indianapolis. Formerly of Cincinnati, Chicago and Downers Grove, Ill., Virginia enjoyed knitting, crafts and cooking.
She is survived by her nieces, Ruthann Hall, Ellen McCurdy and Leslie (Glenn) Price, and nephew Dwight (Sarah Carter) Crowmer.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick “Bud” Owens, sister Jane Dodd Abbott and nephew Frank McCurdy.
