The Hamilton County Area Neighborhood Development organization, better known as HAND, will be hosting a meeting tonight to discuss the proposed plans for Pleasant Street in Noblesville.

The plans include an overhaul road and bridge project that aim to increase accessibility back and forth from the east and west sides of the city.

The meeting is being called in part by the SW Quad Action Team, a group dedicated to improving quality of life in the city’s southwest quadrant.

Representatives form the action team say the meeting will review current plans for the Pleasant Street road and bridge project, review where the group is in the process of working with the City of Noblesville and Hamilton County, and develop ideas for an alternate route, particularly for residents living along Pleasant Street and the within the River Road/Doves Court area.

The meeting will take place promptly at 6 p.m. tonight, June 16, at The Gathering House, 675 Walnut St., Noblesville. A free dinner will be provided at 5:30 p.m., and all are welcome.
