Robert E. Flanders, 91, Noblesville, died April 16 at Riverview Health. He was born March 13, 1925 to Ray and Marie (Spannuth) Flanders in Noblesville.

Bob was a lifetime farmer and was a member of Prairie Baptist Church, where he was a head usher. He also attended Harbour Shores Church. Bob was formerly a member of the Board of Directors of Hamilton Co. Co-Op and the former Hamilton Co. Bank and served on the Hamilton Heights School Board. He loved traveling with friends, wintering in Florida, spending time with family and spending Tuesday nights at Jim Dandy.

Bob is survived by his wife of nearly 69 years, Irene Flanders; daughters, Debbie (John) Leonard and Deanna (Rob) Versprille; five grandchildren, John Robert (Deanna) Leonard, Joshua (Julie) Leonard, Jordan (Jessica) Leonard, Vanessa (Matt) Emery and Dylan Versprille; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Jim Flanders; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, his brother, Harold Flanders, preceded him in death.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Tom Miller for his compassionate care of Bob.
