However, these traditional choices are not your only options. There are plenty of less-traditional options that will look great in your kitchen – and will stand up to daily use. Here are a few that we love:
Butcher Block
Butcher block countertops add warmth to your kitchen, and are great for cutting and chopping. If scratches or burns show up, just sand them out and treat them with some mineral oil. If you like a natural and rustic feel in your kitchen, butcher block is an excellent choice.
