It’s been a long cold winter and the ice is slowly melting… here comes the sun, fun, and Bub’s!  Slip on some flip-flops and discover local places to cool off this coming summer in Hamilton Co.

Have fun under the sun at The Waterpark of Carmel’s Monon Community Center.  Open your pop-tops and lounge the cabanas while watching the smiles returning to the faces!  Plunge down water slides, climb The Wall, leap on lily pads, and surf the waves!  Take a break for concessions or bring your own under the umbrellas.  Finish your adventure on the lazy river and catch a breeze with a summer’s mist.

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes, enjoy a nature’s escape and explore natural water adventures with the White River Canoe Company located in Noblesville!  Ride the river and observe local landmarks and captivating summer wildlife.  Adventures include canoeing, kayaking, river tubing, camping, and more!

It’s all right to escape the heat for some arctic fun and ice skate!  Come together with the family, chill and experience iceskating at the Carmel Ice Skadium, Westfield’s Arctic Zone Iceplex, or the Indy Fuel Tank at Fishers.

And I say, after a day basking in the sun, make your way to the heart of Carmel, Main Street, in the Arts and Design District.  Cross the Monon trail and stop at Bub’s Burgers & Ice cream for a Carmel classic, The “Big Ugly” burger. End your summer’s day with two scoops of Bub’s Super Rainbow ice cream and walk the streets of Carmel.
