American Heritage Girls Troop IN2324, which meets at White River Christian Church in Noblesville, is celebrating its 20th birthday this year. As a special 20th birthday challenge, the American Heritage Girls organization tested all of its troops to pack 20,000 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. The troop had its annual shoebox packing party at the church Nov. 17. The group and its leaders packed 104 shoeboxes in 1 1/2 hours.
