This months Market District Teacher of the Month was Thorpe Creek Elementary 4th grade teacher Mrs. Agnes Pugel. Pugel was nominated by student Evan Thomas.

I think that Mrs. Pugel should be nominated as the best teacher in Hamilton County. Here are a few reasons I believe she deserves this award. She is very kind. She might be strict at times, but it’s always in a loving nature. She also knows how to work with children with additional needs. Mrs. Pugel believes in equality and in her students. She teaches in a way that everyone can understand. Mrs. Pugel also believes in student led classrooms, which empowers her students. This is why she is the best teacher.
