Beginning around 9 p.m. Nov. 13, crews plan to shift the eastbound I-465 to U.S. 31 exit ramp to new pavement north of the current ramp. Access to northbound U.S. 31 and southbound Meridian Street will remain similar. Traffic exiting eastbound I-465 will have one right-turning lane and one left-turning lane.
After the new eastbound I-465 to northbound U.S. 31 flyover ramp opens (expected in the coming weeks), traffic exiting eastbound I-465 to northbound U.S. 31 will have a separate, designated free-flowing exit ramp. The eastbound exit ramp where traffic is shifting to Nov. 13 will then be only for traffic exiting to southbound Meridian Street. The opening of the new flyover ramp is expected to be announced in the near future.
