Library to host card sign-up

September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month and your library is celebrating.

Hamilton East Public Library has chosen Sept. 10 as a day to acknowledge current card holders and encourage others to add priceless value to their wallets by signing up for their very own library card. Join in the excitement by stopping in at 1 Library Plaza, Noblesville.

Those who sign up for new cards or renew their existing cards will receive goodie bags while supplies last. Library visitors will also be treated to demonstrations, tours, prizes and more. Be sure to stop by from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for photo ops and special surprises from Scoopie of Culver’s restaurant.

Can’t make it to the library?  The HEPL team is hitting the road. From 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., they will stop Noble Coffee and Tea, 933 Logan St., and Forum Credit Union, 16855 Mercantile Blvd., in Noblesville. Be the first to sign-up for a library card or show your current Hamilton East Public Library Card, and you’ll win a prize. Follow the adventures on Twitter @HamiltonEastPL or on Facebook at
