With the increasing level of people and activities at CarmelFest, the decision has been made to no longer allow pets at the festival.  For the safety of attendees – and for the protection of pets – this year’s new “no pets policy” (except certified assistance animals) will be in everyone’s best interest.

“Most of the CarmelFest Committee members are pet owners and it was hard for us to make ‘no-pets’ decision. We all love our furry friends, and we want, as you do, to make sure they are always safe, healthy and happy which is not possible with so many feet, sounds, sights and smells – please leave them at home,” said Gary Sexton, CarmelFest Chairperson.

Everyone on the CarmelFest Committee agrees that for the safety of attendees – and for the protection of pets – this new policy will be in everyone’s best interest.  With the number of people gathered by the stages, the KidZone, in the MarketPlace and Food Row, the festival just isn’t pet-friendly.

CarmelFest is from 4-10:30 p.m. July 3, and with the outdoor festival from noon to 10:30 p.m. July 4.  CarmelFest is a free community event.
