Fishers bank robber sentenced to 27-years in prison

The Fort Wayne man arrested for a Fishers bank robbery in 2013 was sentenced to 27 years in prison on June 1. Deandre Armour, 39, was arrested in 2013 after assisting in the robbery of Community Bank on Reynolds Drive.

Armour was convicted of conspiracy to commit armed bank robbery, bank robbery and brandishing a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.

Also convicted along with Armour  was Duryea Rogers, 28, Xavier Hardy, 27, and Tahita Burnett, 42.  All four were involved with the Community Bank robbery.

Rogers received a 12 year sentence, Hardy received an 11 year sentence and Burnett received a seven year sentence.
